FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What age/grade levels do you teach?
We currently offer private piano lessons for kids and teenagers age 5-18, voice lessons for kids and teenagers age 11-18, and group Music Foundation classes for K–5 students. Students are placed in the appropriate class based on age, grade, and skill level.
What instruments are taught at Joyful Noise?
We currently only offer private piano and voice lessons, as well as basic rhythmic instruments in our group classes. Other instruments will be offered in the future as we continue to expand and add more instructors.
How long are the lessons?
Private lessons: 30–60 minutes once a week depending on student needs and goals.
Music Foundation classes: 50 minutes per session-offered on Monday mornings at 10:00am and 11:10am.
Are there recital and performance opportunities?
Yes! Recitals for private lessons are held twice per year (Spring and Winter). Dates and details are provided 4-6 months in advance. Performances for our Music Foundations class are TBD.
